What I’ve Been Up To (Part 1)
I was away from the blog world for a while, and I hope with good reason. No excuses here because as my country high school basketball coach, Larry Joe Mynatt, would tell me, ‘Stu-ert, excuses are like rear-ends, everybody’s got one.’ Except, he used a little more colorful language. The past several weeks have been full of fun, surprises, and more. So here are a series of posts to catch you up to speed:
Of course there was Christmas and it was a blast having a week off, not having to travel, and spending tons of time with Kelly, the kids, and my extended family. Kelly posted about Christmas here, here, and here.
Kelly and I had some fun creating a little bit of a different Christmas card this year. I was able to design it with a lot of Kelly’s input and then used a printing vendor that I often use for the church. They turned out great. So, if you haven’t seen them yet, enjoy:

Did you coach happen to have a son named Shane? I went to CNC with a Shane Mynatt, and I think he was from K’town.
I know he had two sons, one about four years older than me (Mark) and one several years younger but I can’t remember his name. It could be Shane.
Hey Jason,
It’s me, Shane Mynatt from Knoxville & CNC. . .not the son of Coach Mynatt from Halls but the guy who had the Coach Pearl incident. Wow, what a mess. . .
I saw you at the DRIVE conference a couple of weeks ago, but didn’t know if you would remember me? Give me a shout & we can catch up and I’ll bore you with the details of the Pearl deal.
