Rubber Neckin’

Well, was involved in a little criss cross crash this afternoon. I was running errands around Smyrna on my way to get Knox some dog food. I was sitting in traffic on Sam Ridley. As I was waiting for the traffic light to change and all the cars in front of me to start moving, I glanced in my rear-view mirror, saw something coming on me quickly, and then a nano-second later felt an impact. The impact in the rear of the truck forced me into another truck in front of me. Both air bags deployed.

Thankfully, I am fine and I believe everyone else is, too! Thank you Father! Just some scratches from the air bag. I am very grateful for seat belts and air bags (and the people who invented them). First time I have been involved in a crash where air bags were deployed. Pretty wild.

I am sure my truck is totaled. Crunched pretty good in the front and back, both air bags used…it would take a lot to get it back as it was. A year ago my old Pathfinder was totaled in a crash where I wasn’t even driving. I purchased the truck to replace. The Pathfinder was missed but was on its last leg. Pretty bummed about losing the truck, though. Here are some pics:

Ah, so that is the reason I had trouble getting home. It is great that you are ok. I would say that the truck IS totaled.
    Peace
PS what are you gonna get now?

Looks like your truck ate the bumper of the truck in front of you. Nice stash…

Just visiting from your wife’s blog…Yikes, that looks bad! Thankfully you were okay! I know your family must be thanking the Lord for His kindness shown to you and them!
