Sort of ironic that I would include who this quote is from. Rick is a great friend/mentor who I enjoy catching-up with and sharing what we are learning in terms of culture, leadership, and church strategy. Rick is a former student pastor and has served as a missionary and moblizer for the IMB for about the last decade and a half.

This quote really points to creativity. A lot of creativity is taking things already done then processing and implementing how that idea or several ideas together fits for your particular context, project, idea, or environment. Of course, "there is nothing new under the sun" and so if you are one who does feel that creative the reality is the best ideas are not new ideas but refreshed ideas for a different context.
