I hope you are joining me today and celebrating one of our significant national holidays…the beginning of the NCAA men’s basketball tourney or as we know it affectionately, "March Madness".
My brackets is filled out and ready to go. My two teams, Tennessee and Belmont, are in the big dance and expecting great performances. I think Belmont will hang tough with Georgetown, but as a 15 seed it will be tough to come out with a victory…but hey, back to back years for the Bruins going to
the Big Dance is a Big Deal. I still remember the ol’ small school NAIA days for my alma mater.
And as a boy growing up in Big Orange Country…let’ Go Vols. Two years in a row in the tourney with good teams. This year have them a lock for the Sweet 16 and believe with a good run and the team shooting well could go a lot longer…they have proven they can beat the top two seeds in their region.
