A former intern of mine and now big-time student pastor, Daniel Haire, was on me the other day about my lack of blogging the past week or two…rightfully, so. (Yo, Daniel, when are you going to enter the blogosphere.) To get back in the blog groove, I had a mountain of blog reading to catch up on. Thanks to bloglines, the task is much easier. It shows me the blogs that I have on my list, and which posts are new…so, I can stay up to date and scan for some great reads.
As I opened bloglines this evening, I was 897 blog posts behind, man I was behind. So, after some reading and an enormous amount of scanning I have taken the number down to ZERO, that’s right. Now, with my sponge full I can begin to ring it out.
Note: I saved one of the best blogs for last…www.tonymorganlive.com. The picture is a screenshot from my bloglines accounts (you will see the zero in the first set of parenthesis at the top…a lot of hard work paid off). I actually me Tony yesterday in a communications breakout as a part of the All Access conference at NewSpring. I attended with 4 other staff guys from FBCSmyrna and a 3 of our key leaders/volunteers (two of them blog here and here).
The conference was a behind the scenes type experience with a lot of interaction with their staff. It was an insightful and encouraging experience. I will blog tomorrow notes, thoughts, and experiences from the NewSpring conference.
Jason, it was good to meet you. Glad you could come hang out with us for a couple of days.
